A mother-daughter duo team started baking just for friend and family. Their recipe is so good that gaining popularity with everyone around them, they started Cupoladua Oven to bring these delicious home-baked goodies available for everyone. Cupoladua Oven offers cookie and clouds. Light, crispy and airy, the cookies is like the consistency of a meringue. When you put it in your mouth, it starts to slowly dissolve, but when you bite into it, it is still airy and crispy with the subtle sweetness and flavor. The Espresso Walnut has a nutty walnut flavor is deliciously paired with the intense espresso flavor. Very light and crispy. Goes well with a cup of coffee. They suggest to pair them with: espresso, latte, cappuccino, affogato, milk, pinot noir, or sauvignon blanc. The Chocolate Cashew has yummy dark chocolate cocoa with the buttery taste of cashew. The crunchy bits of cashews here and there make this extra delectable. The Chai Pistachio has wonderful pistachio paired with the wonderful chai spices and a strong tinge of vanilla. My favorite flavor of them all because I love pistachio and the hint of vanilla in these is spot on. BTW, Cupoladua Oven’s chai pistachio is not involved in the recent pistachio recall. Safe to eat and delicious. Big airy cookies that satisfies your “snack-attacks” with out breaking your calorie-bank because they are ONLY 11 calories each. One serving is about 10 cookies (28g) and is 100 to 110 calories, 2 WW, 3 grams of fat, zero cholesterol, 70 to 75 milligram of sodium, 14 to 15 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 11 to 12 grams of sugar, and 5 to 6 grams of protein.
Another product Cupoladua Oven offers are these cheesy cupola clouds that come in either Smoked Gouda or Parmesan Pink Peppercorn. They cheesy cupola clouds go really well with wine. Substitute these for the cheese and cracker platter and still get the same cheesy satisfaction. Smart, really smart, especially when each cloud is only 4 calories. These are like big cheese puff rounds, but a little more light and airy. A little bite will cause the puff to collapse in your mouth and turn into dust which makes them pretty fun to eat. It would be best if these cupola clouds has a stronger cheese flavor to it. Don’t eat it alone because you might find it dry. There are so many creative ways to enjoy cupola clouds. Besides enjoyed them with the suggested wine list, I like to crumple some on top of my salad in lieu of calorie dense croutons. An extra 4 calories here and there is totally worth it. One serving of about 25 clouds (28g) is about 90 to 100 calories, 2 WW, 3.5 to 6 grams of fat (2.5 to 3 gram saturated), 10 to 15 milligram of cholesterol, 280 to 300 milligram of sodium, 4 grams of carbohydrates, 1 to 2 grams of fiber, 1 gram of sugar and 10 grams of protein.
After you open these I heard a fizzing sound coming from my crispy friends. So weird. These need to be stored in an airtight container after opening to avoid them being stale. Love to crumple the cookies on top of my Greek yogurts for a some “fairy dust” flavors that makes my yogurts extra yummy. Don’t forget that each cookie is only 11 calories and each cloud is only 4 calories!! What a guilt free way to add flavor to my eats. Best part is, they are gluten free with short and sweet ingredient lists. If they ever lose their “crisp”, just re-bake them in the oven to “re-crisp” them. Cupoladua Oven has sophisticated packaging that keeps their products at the peek of their freshness. Check out their website for more interesting ways to enjoy cupola cookie and cupola clouds. Personally I have not seen these at the places where I normally shop, but they can easily be ordered here.
