Another healthy and delicious find. Mary’s Gone Cracker is a thick and super crispy cracker that is packed with nourishing ingredients you can spot all over the round sand-dollar like crackers. The cracker is a blend of brown rice, quinoa, flaxseeds and sesame seeds. Mary’s Gone Crackers are truly 100% whole grain goodness. They are super crispy and kind of hard so I like to enjoy them slowly and give those whole flaxseeds a good chewing. The flavor of the brown rice pleasant, a slight burnt taste at time. Compared to other rice crackers, Mary’s Gone Crackers are harder and crunchier. They also offer other flavors such as Herb, Caraway, Onion and Black Pepper which I am excited to try out next time. The crackers themselves are a pretty decent size. I tried eating them with salsa, but I find that I enjoy the nuttiness and brown rice flavor as is. Mary’s Gone Crackers puts only the finest quality ingredients into their products. They are organic, kosher, non-GMO, whole grain, hearth healthy, wheat-free, gluten-free, no hydrogenated oils, no trans fats, and contains good fats like 450 milligram of omega-3 fatty acids per serving. which gives them a unique and nutty taste to it. One serving is about 13 crackers (30g), 3 WW, 5 grams of fat (0.5 gram saturated, 2.5 grams PUFA, 1.5 grams MUFA), no cholesterol, 190 milligram of sodium, 160 milligram of potassium, 21 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of dietary fiber, no sugar, and 3 grams of protein. These taste like someone mixed all the all the ingredients together, added a dash of salt and water, flatten them out and stuck it in a dehydrator (they actually baked them). At times there is a burnt taste that lingers in your mouth. I think it is from all the seeds. Some people may not like these for that reason.
